General Description C12 Marine Engine
The Cat® C12 Marine Diesel Propulsion Engines have power ratings ranging from 340 bhp to 490 bhp (254 bkW to 366 bkW) at 1,800-2,300 rpm. They comply with IMO II emissions standards, except for the 497 mhp (490 bhp) rating at 2,300 rpm, which meets IMO I emissions standards. The C12 Engine benefits from an electronically controlled unit injection fuel system, making it environmentally friendly while providing exceptional performance and fuel economy. Additionally, a wide range of optional equipment is available to accommodate various commercial or recreational marine applications.
